The 2nd Annual Beacon College Navigators 5K Run/Walk will benefit the students at Beacon College, a nonprofit, private school noted as the first higher-education institution accredited to award bachelor's degrees primarily to students with learning disabilities, ADHD and other learning differences, where 70 percent of students graduate within 4 years and better than 80 percent within six months of graduation find worthy work or pursue post-graduate education.
Research shows that movement and exercise benefits this population of students physically and scholastically.

Awards will be given to the top Three overall Male and Overall Female
And the first place finisher in the age groups that are listed for both male and female.
Age groups include 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Also each runner will receive a medal for finishing the race
